Volunteer Open Day

Come along to our Volunteer Open Day to learn more about what is involved with being a Tauranga RDA Volunteer.

When: Wednesday 15th of February 2023
Time: 9.30am to 11.30am
Where: Tauranga Riding for the Disabled, 44 Ngapeke Road, Welcome Bay

Volunteer Benefits

Join a big friendly team, learn new skills, have fun, positively impact riders and people in need within our community.

Volunteer Roles

•    Assist as a sider walker in therapy sessions
•     Help with unmounted activities
•     Assist coaches and therapists with equipment for games and therapy sessions
•     Lead horses during therapy sessions
•     Help riders with fitting helmets and checking riding clothing

Horse experience is not necessary, training will be provided.
